Allegheny Health Network in Pittsburgh seeks a nursing support role to provide direct patient care and assist with non-direct unit coordination. You will perform basic nursing procedures for stable patients and support RN care for acutely ill patients, while ensuring medical asepsis and proper documentation in the EMR.

The incumbent follows a charge nurse and care team leader's assignments, participates in admissions, discharges, and transfers, and helps maintain a safe, efficient patient

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Knowledge of basic mathematics is expected.
• Ability to read, write and follow oral and written instructions.
• Basic computer skills are required.

Mansioni

• Provides direct patient care and documents activities (ADLs, vital signs, mobility).
• Supports quality and patient satisfaction initiatives and maintains a clean environment.
• Documents vitals, I&O, weights, and treatments; reports changes to nursing staff.
• Participates in unit activities such as supply stocking and equipment cleaning.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
