Job summary

Clearway Pain Solutions Institute seeks a meticulous Medical Assistant to provide direct patient care in office and ASC settings. You will enter intake data into the EMR, assist with pre-op and recovery, and help maintain patient flow while ensuring HIPAA compliance.

Your role includes recording medical histories, vital signs, and coordinating with providers to support safe, efficient procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Internet and Microsoft Office software (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, including exceptional customer service.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with doctors, clinical staff, other co-workers and the public.
• Ability to work individually as well as within a team.

Responsibilities

• Enter patient intake and provider orders into the EMR and request medical records.
• Assist in bringing patients to pre-op, recovery and discharge.
• Adhere to HIPAA, infection control and OSHA standards.
• Maintain patient information, vital signs and medical history in the chart.
• Assist nursing staff with obtaining and recording vitals and glucometer checks.
• Support patient flow and scheduling accuracy for procedures.
