Clearway Pain Solutions is seeking a patient-focused medical assistant to provide direct care and support to physicians. You will enter intake data into the EMR, handle orders, and assist with patient flow while maintaining HIPAA standards and a high level of customer service.

The role requires strong organizational skills, multitasking, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a clinical team.

Qualifications

• Must have knowledge of Internet and Microsoft Office software (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook).
• Must have excellent written and oral communication skills, including exceptional customer service.
• Must be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with doctors, clinical staff, other co-workers and the public.
• Must be able to work individually as well as within a team.
• Must be able to follow both verbal and written instructions.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule.
• Must be able to respond with patience and understanding during stressful conditions related to patient health and emergent situations.
• Must be able to multi-task and prioritize.
• Must demonstrate extreme attention to detail.
• Must possess strong organization skills.

Responsabilités

• Enter patient intake and provider orders into the EMR.
• Request medical records and ensure chart completeness.
• Take and record patient vitals and medical history.
• Maintain examination rooms and clinical areas.
• Assist with preparing, sterilizing, and handling instruments.
• Obtain prior authorizations for radiology and prescriptions as needed.
• Ensure patient flow and high customer service standards.
• Follow infection control, safety, and OSHA guidelines.
• Relay provider orders to patients and coordinate communications.
