Job summary

Advocate Health seeks a Nurse Aide to assist RNs with daily patient care, including bathing, feeding, mobility, and safety, while helping with room setup and transport. You will document in the EMR and support admission, transfer, and discharge processes.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assists RN with daily patient care including bathing, feeding, mobility and safety.
• Measures and documents vital signs and intake/output in the EMR.
• Performs rounding and communicates observations to RN.
• Assists with admission, transfer and discharge processes and room setup.
• Collects specimens and performs point‑of‑care testing as indicated.
• Performs patient transport and position changes using proper technique.
• Maintains skin care and pressure injury prevention measures.
• Assists with removal of IVs and post mortem care as directed.
• Adheres to infection prevention policies and proper PPE usage.
