Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Nurse Aide to assist registered nurses with daily patient care, including bathing, feeding and mobility. The role requires accurate documentation in the EMR, quick response to call lights, and participation in admissions, transfers and discharges under RN supervision.

Applicants should have a High School diploma or GED/HSED, be capable of lifting and assisting with transfers, and obtain Basic Life Support within 45 days.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with daily patient care (bathing, hygiene, feeding, mobility).
• Record and document vitals, intake/output, weights, and other data.
• Support admissions, transfers and discharges under RN supervision.
• Ensure patient call lights are answered and staff informed of needs.
• Perform patient positioning, transfers, and with proper technique.
