Advocate Health Care is seeking a Nursing Assistant to support RNs in daily patient care, including hygiene, feeding, ambulation, and positioning. You will document vital signs and intake/output, and assist with admissions, transfers and discharges in a fast-paced hospital setting.

This role requires basic computer skills, excellent communication, and the ability to prioritize tasks while maintaining patient safety and comfort.

Mansioni

• Assist RN with daily patient care including bathing, oral hygiene, feeding and ambulation.
• Measure and document vitals (BP, temp, pulse, resp) and intake/output in EMR.
• Perform purposeful rounding and communicate observations to RN.
• Assist with admission, transfer and discharge processes and room setup.
• Collect urine, stool and sputum specimens and perform point-of-care testing as directed.
• Maintain stock for nursing area and clean equipment and work areas.
