Advocate Health Care seeks a Nursing Assistant to support RNs in daily patient care within a hospital setting. You will assist with bathing, feeding, mobility and basic care while maintaining accurate EMR documentation.

The role requires BLS within 45 days and state Nurse Aide registration. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential to ensure patient comfort, safety, and smooth unit operations.

Competenze

• Basic computer skills required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to set priorities.
• Certification Addendum requirements for annual hospital certifications (DNV/CARF or others).

Mansioni

• Assist RN with daily patient care including bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, mobility and transfers.
• Document vital signs and other patient data in EMR.
• Participate in admissions, transfers and discharges under RN guidance; ensure patient calls are answered promptly.
• Handle processing of specimens and routine lab tasks with proper labeling and safety.
• Run errands, stock nursing area, and maintain equipment and supplies.
• Assist with patient positioning, skin care and use of assistive devices.
• Follow infection prevention policies and wear protective attire as needed.
