Job summary

Mount Carmel, a Mount Carmel Health System facility, seeks a Multi-Skilled Technician to support nursing staff and enhance patient care. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and help document patient information to ensure accurate records and a high-quality patient experience.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, EKG/phlebotomy training, BLS certification, and prior patient-care exposure.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of EKG and Phlebotomy courses and initial clinical competency upon hire or transfer.
• BLS healthcare provider training required.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with personal care and activities of daily living.
• Keep assigned patient rooms stocked, cleaned, and orderly.
• Obtain vital signs including height, weight, blood glucose, and I&O.
• Perform EKG and phlebotomy as delegated by Staff RN.
• Document patient data accurately and completely.
• All other duties as assigned.
