Job summary

Mount Carmel Health System is seeking a Multi-Skilled Technician to provide patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse during a 12-hour night shift. This role focuses on compassionate care and immediate tasks that support top-priority patients in a large Ohio health system.

Responsibilities include assisting with personal care, taking vital signs, EKGs, phlebotomy per RN delegation, maintaining clean rooms, documenting data, and performing duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of EKG and Phlebotomy courses and initial clinical competency upon hire.
• Completion and maintenance of BLS healthcare provider training.
• Previous patient care experience or health-related technical education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with personal care and activities of daily living, including: bathing/skin care (I & II), grooming, and eating.
• Keep assigned patient rooms stocked, cleaned, and orderly.
• Obtain vital signs, including: height, weight, blood glucose levels, and I&O
• Perform EKG and phlebotomy as delegated by Staff RN.
• Document patient data accurately and completely.
• All other duties as assigned.
