Job summary

Mount Carmel Health System is seeking a Multi-Skilled Technician to provide compassionate patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse. The role emphasizes accurate data documentation and sensitivity to each patient’s physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, vital signs, EKG, phlebotomy, and maintaining clean, stocked rooms. Requires high school diploma and BLS, with prior care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of EKG and Phlebotomy courses with initial clinical competency.
• BLS healthcare provider certification and renewal required.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with personal care and activities of daily living.
• Keep rooms stocked, cleaned and orderly.
• Obtain vital signs including height, weight, glucose, and I&O.
• Perform EKG and phlebotomy as delegated by RN.
• Document patient data accurately and completely.
• Fulfill all other duties as assigned.
