Job summary

Mount Carmel Health System is seeking a part-time Multi-Skilled Technician to support RN-directed patient care. The role emphasizes compassionate, patient-centered service and collaboration with nursing teams.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, taking vital signs, and performing EKG/phlebotomy per delegation. SBO, room upkeep, and accurate documentation are essential. Opportunities exist for growth and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• EKG and Phlebotomy courses completed; competency on hire or transfer.
• BLS healthcare provider certification maintained.
• Previous patient care experience or health-related training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with personal care and activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, and eating.
• Keep assigned patient rooms stocked, cleaned, and orderly.
• Obtain vital signs, including height, weight, blood glucose, and I&O.
• Perform EKG and phlebotomy as delegated by Staff RN.
• Document patient data accurately and completely.
• All other duties as assigned.
