Job summary

Mount Carmel Health System is seeking a Multi-Skilled Technician to support patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse. You will help with daily living activities, monitor patients, and ensure a clean, organized environment to contribute to a top-tier patient experience.

The role includes taking vital signs, performing EKGs and phlebotomy as delegated, documenting data accurately, and adapting to a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• EKG and Phlebotomy courses completed with initial clinical competency.
• BLS healthcare provider training completed and maintained.
• Experience in patient care or health-related technical field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with personal care and daily living activities.
• Keep patient rooms stocked, clean, and orderly.
• Record vital signs and input/output.
• Perform EKG and phlebotomy as delegated by RN.
• Document patient data accurately and completely.
• All other duties as assigned.
