Job summary

Memorial Health System in Marietta, OH is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support RN and LPN duties, process physician orders, and enter orders in Meditech. The role includes hourly rounding, patient flow coordination, and assisting with unit cleanliness and supplies to ensure a safe, efficient care environment.

The incumbent will also assist with patient/family teaching and maintain strict confidentiality while promoting a positive patient experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED completion required.
• Ohio STNA certification due within 6 months of hire.
• BLS certification required, obtained during orientation.
• RQI compliance is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care under RN/LPN supervision.
• Process physician orders and enter in Meditech accurately.
• Perform hourly rounding and coordinate patient flow with the charge nurse.
• Maintain unit cleanliness and supply management.
• Support patient/family teaching and maintain patient confidentiality.
