Job summary

Memorial Health System in Marietta, OH is seeking an adaptable hospital support professional to join our team. This flex-time role involves assisting with patient care activities, clerical tasks, and coordinating patient flow under RN supervision.

You will perform hourly rounding, help with charting in Meditech, and support a safe, efficient unit. A strong emphasis on teamwork, safety, and patient satisfaction is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required – will obtain during hospital orientation.
• Maintains compliance in RQI required.

Responsibilities

• Performs hourly rounding.
• Clerical duties including charting, answering phones, and Meditech orders.
• Coordinates patient flow with the charge nurse to maintain communication between departments.
• Assists with patient and non-patient care within scope of practice as assigned by RN and documents in Meditech.
• Assists with patient/family teaching as appropriate.
• Maintains open lines of communication between self and professional staff.
• Maintains a positive and caring relationship with others by using trust and mutual respect.
