Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CNA program completion and Illinois CNA Registry listing, or nursing student with one clinical rotation.
• Basic life support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Collects, labels and transports specimens as assigned.
• Obtains 12 lead EKGs and assists with urinary catheters.
• Performs Point of Care Testing and bladder scans as appropriate.
• Assists patients with hygiene, nutrition, and mobility per plan of care.
• Conducts hourly rounds with the RN and documents care data as directed.
