Job summary

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant program completed or enrolled nursing student with clinical rotation.
• BLS certification through American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Collects, labels and transports specimens.
• Obtains 12 lead EKGs.
• Discontinues Saline Locks and Urinary Catheters.
• Performs hourly patient rounding in collaboration with the RN.
• Assists with patient ambulation and positioning.
• Responds to patient calls and safety needs.
• Supports a safe clinical care environment.
