Virtua Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support the daily living activities and care plans for patients. You will work under the direction of an RN/LPN and collaborate with the healthcare team and patients' families.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates required knowledge of basic patient care skills, procedures and standards.
• Must have strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supports activities of daily living: bathing, dressing, grooming, oral care, feeding, toileting/hygiene, mobility and transport.
• Performs vital signs, phlebotomy and EKGs as applicable and documents changes.
• Reinforces patient and family education on care needs and safety.
• Participates in patient satisfaction initiatives and performance improvements.
• Assists in orientation of new hires.
