Job summary

Virtua Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician/Certified Nursing Assistant to support patients in a hospital setting. The role focuses on activities of daily living, vital signs, and safeguarding patient safety under RN/LPN supervision.

The position is on-site with a Night Shift - 12 Hr schedule and Per Diem classification. Requires a PCT/CNA background and BLS certification; High School diploma or GED is required. Hourly pay ranges from $19.54 to $29.20.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates required knowledge of basic patient care skills, procedures and standards.
• Must have strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living: bathing, dressing, grooming, oral care, feeding and mobility.
• Perform vital signs, point of care testing, and catheter care as directed.
• Support RN/LPN and communicate patient status changes promptly.
• Reinforce patient and family education and participate in quality initiatives.
