Job summary

Ascension Health in Appleton, WI is seeking a dedicated nurse aide to join the Stepdown department on full-time days. You will work three 12-hour shifts per week with weekend and holiday rotation, assist with entry/exit of patients, provide personal care, and document essential records.

Minimum requirements include BLS within 30 days and Wisconsin Nurse Aide credentials; high school diploma or equivalent with 1 year of relevant experience; Ascension offers comprehensive benefits and growth

How you’ll make an impact in this role

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Nurse Aide credentialed from the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Certified Nursing Assistant credentialed from the state of Wisconsin, and in Nurse Aide Registry with eligibility to work in a hospital setting obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Additional certs may be required by specific job locations.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
• Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
