CenterWell Senior Primary Care in New Albany, IN is seeking a Medical Assistant to help ensure smooth patient flow between check-in and the doctor’s visit. You will prepare patients for the exam room, take basic vitals, verify information, and explain procedures with clarity and kindness to support high-quality care.

In this onsite role, you will manage intake, clinical rooming, EMR inbox tasks, and patient education to ensure efficient clinic operations.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an MA training program or has at least 3 years of experience.
• Current or in-progress BLS certification.
• Right to work in the United States.
• Willing to work assigned clinic hours.
• Ability to document screenings using approved tools.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and safety policies.
• Experience with EMR inbox and patient communications.

Responsibilities

• Intake and clinical rooming with vitals and history.
• Verify medications and allergies; conduct screenings as needed.
• Manage EMR inbox and patient follow-ups to support same-day tasks.
• Educate patients and verify understanding using loop-back method.
• Support vaccination standards and basic calculations.
