Job summary

CenterWell Senior Primary Care seeks a dedicated Medical Assistant to ensure smooth patient flow from check-in to physician visit. You will prepare patients, verify medications and allergies, document histories, and support clinic operations in person.

In this onsite role, you will manage EMR inbox tasks, coordinate with providers and labs, and educate patients using loop-back techniques to confirm understanding and adherence to care plans.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of HIPAA & safety policies; protects privacy and follows safety requirements.
• Infection prevention and OSHA; applies infection control and safety standards.
• Computer literacy and ability to manage patient information in an EMR.

Responsibilities

• Perform intake and clinical rooming with vitals, medication and allergy verification, and patient history.
• Manage EMR inbox and routing for patient messages, labs and pharmacy follow-ups; aim for same-day touch.
• Educate patients using loop-back method to ensure understanding of next steps.
