Job summary

Millennium Physician Group in Naples, FL is seeking a dependable Patient Care Specialist (Float) to support front office operations across Collier County. You will schedule, register, verify insurance, and assist patients with inquiries, while maintaining accurate EMR records in a fast-paced practice.

This full-time, float role involves 2–3 days per week at the Naples office (400 8th Street N) with remaining days supporting other offices as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of medical front office experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with patient scheduling and registration.
• Knowledge of insurance verification and eligibility processes.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy office environment.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between Collier County locations.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, register, and prepare patients for appointments.
• Verify patient demographics, insurance coverage, referrals, and required documentation.
• Answer incoming calls, respond to patient inquiries, and provide exceptional customer service.
• Manage appointment scheduling, cancellations, and follow-up activities.
• Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts and routine patient access concerns.
• Route messages, refill requests, forms, and inquiries to the appropriate team.
• Maintain accurate patient records within EMR and scheduling systems.
• Support front desk operations, check-in/check-out, and daily workflows.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and patient confidentiality standards.
• Assist multiple office locations throughout Collier County as needed.
