Job summary

Pulmonary Associates of Richmond (PAR) is seeking a dynamic full-time Patient Care Representative Float to work across the Boulders, Waterford, and Colonial Heights locations in Richmond, VA. The role offers weekly pay and comprehensive benefits, with pay based on experience.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of front desk or customer service experience. You will handle patient intake, data entry, scheduling, and EMR tasks while delivering excellent

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of front desk experience in medical practice or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and instruct them on the use of the Phreesia pad.
• Float to multiple locations as needed.
• Enter demographic and insurance data in the EMR and acknowledge patients in Allscripts.
• Scan financial paperwork and insurance cards.
• Obtain referrals when required.
• Check patients out in Allscripts.
• Schedule follow-up appointments and tests.
• Complete order forms and give patient instructions.
• Call patients to schedule or reschedule appointments.
• Perform daily administrative tasks such as mailing reminders and distributing faxes.
• Maintain EMR by faxing daily notes and lab orders.
• Assist Medical Assistants with daily workload as time permits.
• Support Sleep Lab beds during last-minute cancellations.
• Uphold HIPAA and patient privacy standards.
