Job summary

Pulmonary Associates of Richmond (PAR) is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant and Front Desk Float for our Colonial Heights location. This role offers weekly pay and a collaborative, team-oriented environment with opportunities to grow.

Responsibilities include chart prep, v​itals collection, documentation, handling calls for refills, and processing orders and authorizations. Strong EMR experience and a Medical Assistant certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of Medical Assistant experience in a medical practice.
• Certified Medical Assistant training or equivalent preferred.
• EMR experience preferred (Allscripts).
• Vital signs experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prep charts, preload and scan charts into EMR.
• Obtain vitals, patient history, meds, and reason for visit.
• Document patient activity accurately.
• Return patient calls for prescriptions and questions.
