Qualifications

• 3+ years in a hospital or medical office.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient intake and pre-registration tasks, collect insurance information and authorizations.
• Document all patient information accurately in EMR to support billing and care.
• Schedule physician appointments, tests, procedures and explain prep instructions.
• Act as liaison between patient, billing, and payors to ensure smooth accounts receivable.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain patient confidentiality.
