Job summary

Phoenix Physical Therapy is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator I in Pennsylvania to be the first point of contact in the clinic, handling check-in/check-out, scheduling appointments, and processing payments. This role supports patients and clinicians while maintaining confidentiality and a welcoming, organized front desk.

You will verify insurance, collect co-pays, input codes into the EMR, and keep treatment areas clean and stocked.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.
• 0–2 years of medical office or customer service experience.
• Current CPR certificate is required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in a courteous manner.
• Schedule and remind patients for services; verify insurance.
• Collect co-payments and enter procedure codes into EMR.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and inventory of the clinic.
• Perform end-of-day procedures and other office tasks as needed.
