Job summary

Allied OMS is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to ensure a positive and seamless patient experience from first contact through treatment. The role combines customer service, scheduling, and insurance verification to support front office operations in a dental/medical practice.

Qualifications include a high school diploma (associate or bachelor’s preferred), 1+ year in a dental/medical setting, and proficiency with WinOMS/Dentrix/Eaglesoft plus MS Office. Bilingual abilities are a plus.

• Familiarity with insurance verification and plan benefits.
• Proficient with practice management software and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments and provider schedules.
• Serve as first point of contact for high-volume calls with professionalism.
• Verify insurance, discuss coverage, and obtain authorizations when needed.
• Accurately enter data and maintain patient records in the practice system.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure smooth patient flow and stay HIPAA compliant.
