Job summary

Healogics is seeking a Patient Navigator to support outpatient wound care operations across our centers. You will greet patients, schedule appointments, verify insurance, and coordinate with care teams to ensure smooth clinic flow.

The role requires 2+ years of office experience in a medical setting, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and strong communication and organizational skills. This on-site position offers an hourly wage and standard benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of two years of office administration experience, preferably in a medical setting; prior medical coding experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong customer service and communication skills, with attention to detail and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Center leadership to maximize daily patient census.
• Greet patients and visitors; route calls to appropriate staff.
• Manage patient communications including scheduling and reminders; coordinate with providers.
• Enter and verify patient insurance information, pre-certifications, and charges.
• Prepare monthly patient survey data and documentation; transmit to providers.
• Assemble and file patient charts; ensure data completeness and signatures.
• Coordinate testing with other hospital departments and arrange patient transport.
