Job summary

SportsMed Physical Therapy is seeking a Patient Coordinator to join our front desk team in Northern New Jersey. You will greet patients, schedule appointments, verify insurance benefits, and ensure accurate data entry to keep operations running smoothly.

Ideal candidates will have excellent customer service, strong communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual Spanish is preferred, and prior medical office experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and visitors in person or by phone and handle inquiries.
• Schedule and reschedule appointments to optimize provider time.
• Complete insurance verifications and obtain authorizations.
• Maintain patient records and update personal/financial data.
• Keep appointments on schedule and notify providers of delays.
