SportsMed Physical Therapy in Northern New Jersey is seeking a Patient Coordinator to join our growing team. The role handles front desk duties, scheduling, insurance verification, and data entry to keep operations smooth and patient-centered.

You will interact with patients and visitors, coordinate appointments, verify benefits with insurers, and support the team to meet office goals while maintaining patient confidentiality and accuracy in records.

Formación

• Experience in a Physical therapy environment, medical office, or hospitality with strong customer service.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
• Excellent customer service and professional telephone skills.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail and confidentiality of patient information.

Responsabilidades

• Welcome patients and visitors in person or by phone.
• Schedule and reschedule appointments to optimize provider time and room utilization.
• Complete insurance verifications.
• Maintain patient records and ensure data accuracy.
• Notify providers of arrivals and delays to keep appointments on schedule.
• Maintain patient accounts and financial information.
• Process patient charges and assist with third-party claims.
• Protect patient confidentiality and comply with policies.
• Support team in achieving office goals.
