AEG is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to manage front desk operations, patient flow, and care team coordination at our Elk Grove clinic. You will greet patients, handle calls and emails, and optimize scheduling to ensure a smooth, positive patient experience.

The role requires strong organization, communication, and confidentiality, with attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively across teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic computer literacy; able to learn practice management systems (EMR).
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills; able to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, customers, and vendors; serve as primary contact for patient interactions.
• Answer calls, respond to inquiries, and manage email communications promptly.
• Schedule patient appointments and support provider schedule optimization.
• Confirm and remind appointments to reduce no-shows and prepare patients.
• Verify insurance eligibility and demographics; enter data in EMR accurately.
• Communicate coverage, benefits, and patient financial responsibility clearly.
