Job summary

The Corvallis Clinic, part of the Optum family, seeks an Associate Patient Care Coordinator to deliver patient care per established standards. This onsite role supports scheduling, insurance verification, and patient flow across multiple sites in Corvallis, OR.

Compensation reflects a 40-hour work week with benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision coverage, retirement plans, education reimbursement, and employee discounts. Local travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1+ years of customer service or healthcare related experience.
• Intermediate computer proficiency with MS Outlook, Excel, and Word.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients, answers the telephone, routes calls/tasks, books appointments, verifies insurance coverage, and handles payments.
• Checks patients in/out and verifies demographics and insurance.
• Monitors provider schedules and prepares patients for exams.
• Participates in training of new employees.
• May work at multiple sites as needed.
