Option Care Health, Inc. is seeking a Patient Scheduler to coordinate staffing and schedule patient visits across clinical areas, interfacing with nursing, pharmacy and warehouse teams.

The role involves contacting patients and clinicians to confirm deliveries and visits, interpreting physician orders, and ensuring timely, compliant scheduling while safeguarding patient confidentiality. Clerical duties may be required in the absence of a clerk.

Qualifications

• Verbal and written communication skills required.
• Experience in scheduling or coordinating, preferably in healthcare.
• Experience in customer service and handling multiple tasks.
• Basic proficiency with Word and Excel for documentation and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Ensures appropriate staffing is arranged for all patient care.
• Coordinates, monitors and schedules patient care across clinical areas.
• Contacts patients and clinicians to schedule and confirm deliveries and visits.
• Interprets physician orders and schedules accordingly.
• Completes tasks and runs reports in required platforms.
• Coordinates scheduling needs with staffing availability.
• Alerts management to staffing needs and requirements.
• Facilitates patient complaints or issues to appropriate department.
• May perform clerk duties when needed in the absence of a clerk.
• Ensures confidentiality of patient and proprietary Option Care information.
