Qualifications

• At least two (2) years of directly related experience such as medical coding or billing, patient advocacy, or social services required.
• Must demonstrate the ability to verbally articulate information and questions.

Responsibilities

• Answer all incoming calls; assess callers' needs and direct appropriate personnel.
• Schedule outpatient appointments, referrals, testing, hospital surgeries and hospital admissions upon request.
• Handle new patient referrals, gather necessary information, register new patients in the computer system and schedule appointments.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
