Job summary

Seattle Children's is seeking a Patient Support Coordinator to perform a variety of patient care support tasks while upholding our core values. You will serve as a liaison among patients, families, RN and provider teams, handling high-volume calls, gathering information, and supporting prior authorizations for medications and supplies.

This role focuses on the Orthopedics and Rehabilitation Center across all sites of care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum three years of related experience in customer service, patient support, and/or office management in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Answer high-volume phone lines, prioritizing, screening, and routing calls.
• Gather and document appropriate information.
• Support prior authorizations for medication and supplies.
• Manage customer flow by answering questions, resolving conflicts, and notifying appropriate staff of issues.
• Provide research and follow-up.
• Support the Orthopedics and Rehabilitation Center for all sites of care.
