Job summary

Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare is seeking a Unit Coordinator to support patients, families and staff by coordinating patient care services and providing essential information and directions. The role includes first-level system support for physicians and clinicians and ensuring accurate documentation within medical records.

You will support unit operations, assist with order processing, and provide online tools support while maintaining HIPAA compliance and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• HIPAA compliance required.
• MS Office Suite proficiency.
• Experience with electronic medical record systems preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Attention to detail and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Customer Service Support – Provides support to patients, Partners in Care, other family and guests. Is proactive in order to provide information, comfort and support to patients and their loved ones. Also quickly responds to concerns, needs and comments, by ensuring accurate and effective communication.
• Supports the timely and accurate use of all medical record forms and documentation of information.
• Processing orders.
• Assistance with coordination of Patient Care Services.
• Online tools support.
• Unit operations support.
• Performs other job functions as assigned or requested.
