The role emphasizes data collection on physician productivity, resolving billing issues, and maintaining strong relationships with patients and internal teams. A strong customer service background and healthcare exposure are valued.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• 2 years healthcare experience.
• Experience in a customer service role.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and EMR systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manages schedules to optimize resources including providers, rooms and equipment.
• Coordinates care alternatives for patients affected by changes.
• Communicates with patients and clinical staff to ensure treatment plan adherence.
• Assists Practice Manager with data collection and analysis of physician productivity.
• Facilitates billing issue resolution and pre-certifications or referrals when needed.
• Registers patients and schedules appointments.
• Provides patient education materials as needed.
• Maintains relationships with patients, providers, staff and vendors.
• Responds to inquiries from patients, providers, and staff related to practice operations.
• Performs follow-up to ensure testing, prescriptions and plan adherence.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
