BayCare is seeking a Patient Care Leader to oversee nursing care on the patient care unit in Winter Haven. This clinical nurse will lead nursing practice, ensure high-quality outcomes, and assume 24/7 accountability for assigned patients.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Nursing, an active RN license, and BLS; ACLS if department requires. Two years of acute care RN experience preferred, with full-time, exempt status.

Position Description: Patient Care Leader

• The Patient Care Leader (PCL) is a clinical nurse who leads the practice of nursing and manages care on the patient care unit.

• This nurse is proficient in the delivery of complex nursing care and continuously promotes quality care assuming a broad level of accountability for outcomes.

• The Patient Care Leader provides 24 hour/ 7 day accountability care for assigned patients.
