Job summary

BayCare is seeking a Patient Care Leader (PCL) at Mease Dunedin Hospital to guide nursing practice on the patient care unit and manage care delivery. This role requires an experienced clinical nurse who can lead, coordinate, and advocate for high-quality outcomes.

The PCL provides 24/7 accountability for assigned patients, with a focus on complex nursing care, staff supervision, and continuous quality improvement in a full-time, exempt capacity.

Qualifications

• 2 years acute care RN experience required
• RN (Registered Nurse) certification required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• ACLS (Cardiovascular) if required by department

Position Description: Patient Care Leader

• This nurse is proficient in the delivery of complex nursing care and continuously promotes quality care assuming a broad level of accountability for outcomes.

• The Patient Care Leader provides 24 hour/ 7 day accountability care for assigned patients.
