BayCare seeks a Patient Care Leader in Clearwater (Morton Plant) to oversee nursing practice on the unit and ensure high-quality patient care. The role requires strong clinical leadership and accountability for outcomes, with 24/7 coverage for assigned patients.

The position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, an active RN license, and at least 2 years of acute care RN experience. Current BLS is required and ACLS if mandated by department.

Position Description: Patient Care Leader

• The Patient Care Leader (PCL) is a clinical nurse who leads the practice of nursing and manages care on the patient care unit.

• This nurse is proficient in the delivery of complex nursing care and continuously promotes quality care assuming a broad level of accountability for outcomes.

• The Patient Care Leader provides 24 hour/ 7 day accountability care for assigned patients.
