Responsibilities

• Provides clerical and administrative support, including answering phones, scheduling, typing documents, and filing for others.
• Prepares treatment rooms, sterilizes equipment, and disposes of contaminated supplies.
• Interviews patients to obtain medical information and schedule activities; maintains medical records.
• Explains procedures, medications, and pre-established instructions to patients.
• Collects blood and specimens, may measure vitals and assist with routine tests.
• Guides patients to examination rooms and prepares them for physician.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
