Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provides clerical and administrative support (phones, scheduling, filing, meetings).
• Prepares treatment rooms; maintains cleanliness and sterilizes equipment. cleans contaminated supplies.
• Interviews patients to obtain information or schedule activities; updates medical records.
• Explains treatment procedures, medications and pre-established instructions to patients.
• Collects blood or specimens; logs specimens and prepares for testing; may measure vital signs.
• May perform routine laboratory tests and sample analyses.
• Accompanies patients to examination rooms and prepares them for physicians.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
