Mosaic Life Care in Saint Joseph, MO is seeking a Clinic Patient Care Representative to support patient flow, collect information, and perform front desk duties under leadership. The float pool work across nursing units and rotating assignments helps ensure coverage.

Responsibilities include greeting patients, assisting providers, handling check-in/out, scheduling, and maintaining records to support clinic operations.

Qualifications

• Greet patients and document information in medical records.
• Maintain examination rooms and equipment.
• Assist providers during exams and procedures as trained.
• Perform EKGs, specimen collection, and point-of-care testing with proper training.

Responsibilities

• Greets and escorts patient to exam room.
• Interviews patient and documents patient’s response in the medical record according to standard.
• Maintains examination room and equipment.
• May assist provider during physical examination, and certain special procedures as instructed.
• Performs EKG’s, specimen collection and point of care testing with appropriate training and competencies.
• Schedules, reschedules, and cancels patient appointments; performs check in and check out functions.
• Completes patient registration, medical record assignment, and visit creation.
• Communicates with patients regarding appointments, completion of insurance forms, and other documentation.
• Prepares release of information and consent forms for patient signature; coordinates receipt of additional information.
• Requests payment, balances receipts for deposit, reconciles and completes daily reports and work lists.
• Other duties as assigned
