Job summary

Next Level Urgent Care, LLC is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians and care for patients. You will greet patients, take vital signs, prepare exam rooms, and assist with procedures in a fast-paced urgent care setting.

The role requires basic computer skills and EMR proficiency, BCLS certification, and the ability to work day, night, and weekend shifts. You will help maintain a safe, clean environment and participate in quality improvement and training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Some medical experience preferred.
• BCLS certification required.
• Ability to work all shifts including day, night, and weekends as needed.
• Basic computer skills and EMR familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients in waiting area and escort to exam rooms; initiate registration.
• Measure vital signs and record information in EMR.
• Explain treatment procedures and prepare patient and exam room for examination.
• Assist Physician/Medical Provider with procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment; sterilize instruments and ensure adequate supplies.
