Next Level Urgent Care, LLC seeks a Medical Assistant to support daily patient care and facility goals. You will assist physicians, measure vitals, prepare exam rooms, and manage procedures with attention to safety and cleanliness.

Responsibilities include performing diagnostic tests, CLIA-waived labs, urine screens, and charting in EMR. The role requires flexibility across shifts, good communication, and adherence to safety protocols.

Formación

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Some medical experience.
• BCLS certification required.
• Ability to work day, night and weekend shifts as needed.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic medical records.
• Detail oriented with strong interpersonal communication.

Responsabilidades

• Assure patient flow runs smoothly and efficiently; greet and escort patients and initiate registration.
• Measure vital signs and record information on chart/EMR.
• Explain treatment procedures and prepare patient and exam room for examination.
• Assist Physician/Medical Provider with procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment; sterilize instruments and ensure supplies.
• Perform diagnostic tests including eye exams, ECG, pulse ox, peak flow, spirometry and inhalation equipment.
• Perform CLIA-waived lab tests and process specimens for send-out.
• Perform DOT and Non-DOT urine drug screens with proper chain of custody; prepare for shipment.
• Remove sutures/staples and change dressings.
• Adhere to safety requirements and report unsafe conditions.
• Pursue continuing education and participate in quality improvement programs.
