Prairie Rehabilitation is seeking a full-time Patient Care Coordinator for our Sioux Falls, SD clinic. The role involves interacting with patients and therapists, coordinating insurance details, scheduling, and addressing patient feedback with a commitment to clinical excellence.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 9am–6pm. The ideal candidate is outgoing, friendly, detail-oriented, with strong communication and multi-tasking abilities.

Qualifikationen

• Applicant must be extremely capable of understanding and learning new computer systems and administrative processes.
• Applicant must work well in a team-oriented environment.

Aufgaben

• Greeting everyone who enters the clinic in a friendly and welcoming manner.
• Collecting co-payments & co-insurance.
• Answering phones and transferring/screening calls as appropriate.
• Scheduling new & existing patients and making schedule adjustments as needed.
• Verifying insurance coverage.
• Preparing and typing routine correspondence, form letters, and reports.
• Ensuring patient privacy by following HIPAA.
• Maintaining inventory of the necessary office forms and supplies.
• Other duties as assigned.
