Responsibilities

• Coordinates patient and information flow at the desk area to clinical staff and patients.
• Greets the patient and family and completes the patient registration process.
• Completes order entry process, coordinates computer downtime, and coordinates patient information flow.
• Demonstrates time management skills.
• Prepares and organizes medical records for charts per HIMS.
• Keeps the environment clean, safe, and stocked with supplies and functioning equipment.
• Performs job-specific requirements and other duties as assigned.
• Serves as a preceptor for new employees.
