Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic computer programs such as Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to type at least 40 words per minute.

Responsibilities

• Perform registration and pre-registration functions to ensure smooth patient flow.
• Prepare pre-registration packets for each procedure.
• Obtain necessary documentation to facilitate billing and collections.
• Process co-payments and payments; register patients and update medical records.
• Back up incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate department.
• Perform nightly closing procedures for clinic.
• Call patients for pre-registration notification including copays and deductibles.
