Job summary

Northwest Specialty Hospital in Post Falls, Idaho is seeking a Scheduling Coordinator to join our Axis Spine Center team. You will schedule patient appointments, manage provider calendars, verify demographics and insurance, and ensure complete records for each visit.

Delivering friendly, professional service on a multi-line phone system, you will protect patient confidentiality and work well under pressure while maintaining accuracy and timeliness in all scheduling-related tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• One year of prior clerical experience in a medical setting preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent interpersonal communication to build relationships with physicians or their staff.
• Knowledge of insurer and payer processes.
• CPR/BLS or obtained within first ninety days of hire.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Schedule appointments for patients and manage providers' calendars.
• Verify demographic and insurance information for patients.
• Ensure proper records and documentation are in place for appointments.
• Maintain accurate scheduling records and patient documentation.
• Provide excellent customer service on a multi-line phone system and respond to voicemails promptly.
