Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and serve as primary contact for interactions.
• Answer calls, respond to inquiries, and manage emails.
• Schedule and optimize provider appointments, including cancellations and same-day fills.
• Execute appointment confirmations and reminders to reduce no-shows.
• Verify insurance eligibility and patient demographics in EMR.
• Communicate coverage and patient financial responsibility clearly.
• Prepare patient charts and documentation ahead of visits.
• Enter charges, co-pays, and payments in EMR; monitor balances.
• Run reports to ensure charges are billed and up to date.
• Monitor daily patient flow and adjust schedules to reduce bottlenecks.
• Proactively communicate wait times and next steps to patients.
• Coordinate with clinical/optical teams for smooth transitions.
• Support recall and reactivation outreach for follow-up visits.
• Maintain an organized, front-office environment.
